Hi, I’m Tara Ann Vellella

MA, LBA BCBA

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst of 9 years, Parent Coach and Mom to 3, I recognized the need to gap-services early on in after our move to Maui.

After experiencing first-hand the infuriatingly long wait times to be seen by psychologists through insurance on island for a diagnosis, I knew there was something I could do, today.

Those early years are precious and it’s imperative to have a day-to-day plan (simpler the better for busy parents!) that can help increase connection, communication, more patience and understanding.

I am on a Maui mission to ease this problem by providing carefully crafted, unique for you: developmental assessments, strategy, support and plans so your ohana can move forward with meaningful days while in the “wait”.

Assessment

This research-based comprehensive assessment includes 3 parts from a licensed Behavior Analyst:

Parent interview: which will be conducted in person or over the phone
In-home Observation & Play session
Follow-up: in person or over the phone

Take Aways

Within 2 weeks you will receive results of the assessment, a detailed strategy for getting goals met & most pressing issues.
This roadmap will allow for impactful, simple, daily teaching moments for your child.

The Investment

This comprehensive assessment will give you the best benchmarks of where your child is at and a summary of how to best support your keiki.

Each assessment is completed by Tara, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

The program used is the Verbal Behavior Milestone Assessment Placement Program- VB-MAPP. which is a criterion-referenced developmental assessment.
